Do you have a Party tonight and you don’t have any dress to wear? Or are you appearing for a meeting and are confused if to repeat the same clothes or not?
Well, then let us tell you- Repeating the old outfits seems no more boring and embarrassing! Especially when the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton CAN.
Oh! Is that surprising? Yes, well it is. It is flabbergasting to know that she has a witty way of repeating her outfits many times and appearing in the public.
It isn't amusing to know that Kate Middleton has the finances and opportunity to wear new clothes, but she has been seen time and again repeating her old outfits. Kate Middleton sometimes appears in the same dresses, and in order to contrast them, she uses different accessories.
No doubt, she has a fantastic approach when it comes to recycling old outfits. That's why we want to show you some of the cool hacks the Duchess uses to make her wear the same clothes again:
At the 2020 BAFTA, Kate Middleton plunged into an Alexander McQueen gown. She accessorized it with a pair of Jimmy Choo pumps and Van Cleef & Arpels jewels. But let us tell you, she wore the same gown some 8 years ago. She wore the gown of Alexander McQueen while attending a Malaysian state dinner in 2012. That time she wore Wilbur & Gussie's glittering gold clutch and accessorized it with jewels from Catherine Zoraida.
On Dec 8, 2020, during her royal train tour with Prince William, Kate became festive in a red Alexander McQueen coat at Cardiff Castle. The piece was worn by Emilia Wickstead with a tartan scarf and a contrasting midi skirt. That October, the Duchess had previously worn the tailored topper to launch her photography exhibition of Hold Still in London. She coupled it with a Grace Han handbag and an Amaia floral mask for that look.
During the royal train tour, Kate recycled another item. She pulled out her Hobbs navy coat when the Duke and arrived in Manchester. It was matched with wide-leg trousers, a sweater from Brora Cashmere Fair Isle, and a face mask from Amaia. The Duchess formerly wore the dark coat on Feb. 4, 2020, in Wales, styling it with a Beulah London scarf heart pattern, a red Zara dress, and a Mulberry clutch.
Kate proved that, according to the footwear, the creamy, off-the-shoulder outfit can be garbed down or dressed up. In 2016, she paired a Casasola off-the-shoulder dress with neutral sandals. On the other hand, when she added a pair of sparkly heels with this same ensemble, she made adjustments to a new level for 2019. When attending the Drug Awareness Week Gala Dinner, she used a pair of sparkly heels.
In 2016, while she stayed at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai, India, 2016, Kate wore this gorgeous blue dress. At the Bollywood influenced Charity Gala, this blue dress was seen. After a few years, she wore this blue dress while attending Place2Be's 25th-anniversary party at London's Buckingham Palace in 2020. All Thanks to the chiffon cape, the look changed dramatically and she looked stunningly gorgeous.
During the 2020 pandemic, the duchess's Amaia floral face mask was one of her classics. In many patterns, Kate has the mask and has worn the reusable style for numerous events. On August 4, she wore a Suzannah white dress and wore the same mask and while paired it with All the Falling Stars earrings.
Kate wore a different colourway with a Massimo Dutit plaid coat and pale blue sweater at the University of Derby on Oct. 6. With the mask and a red Alexander McQueen coat, the 39-year-old covered up again on Oct. 20 for her Hold Still exhibition launch. The duchess also wore the face mask of Amaia and a reused Emilia Wickstead frock to meet residents at Cardiff's Shire Hall Care Home on Aug. 5.
While visiting the parade of the Order of the Garter Service at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle in 2019, Kate Middleton was seen wearing this dress. During her meeting at the Foundation Polo Challenge that year, people saw the duchess again wearing this outfit, however this time the blazer was missing. Further, she wore the same dress when she went to the wedding of Emily McCorquodale and James Hut at St. Andrew and St. Mary's Church in 2012.
Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, slipped into a blue dress the next day of her marriage. Though she looked fantastic as usual, after some time, she wore the same dress. When she was at a church service to mark Prince Philip's ninetieth birthday, she was spotted in the same dress. However, the alteration in her wardrobe was a blazer. To make things look different, she put on a blazer over a blue shirt.
On her royal tour of Ireland with Prince William in March 2020, Kate was charmed as she re-weared a Reiss cream coat. She teamed it up with black ankle boots by Russell & Bromley and matching skinny jeans. Kate had worn that same piece of clothing while she was supporting Prince William (her then-boyfriend) at his RAF graduation ceremony in Cranwell in 2008.
On November 11, 2018, to mark the centennial of the Armistice at Westminster Abbey, Kate Middleton stepped out in a beautiful green Catherine Walker coat with velvet cuffs, collar, and pockets. She rocked this look while pairing it up with an oversized velvet headband, matching pumps plus a black clutch. Previously, on March 17, 2017, she previously wore the trendy double-breasted number to two events. That morning, before jetting off to meet Prince William in Paris, she wore the same and traded her green hat for a Chelsea blowout.
While any designer would die to design dresses for her, she surely seems to have a way of her own.
Seems like we shouldn't be shy to do the same if the Duchess herself isn't ashamed in showing up in the same outfit time and again. But not to forget, every time she repeats her outfits, it just mesmerizes us as to how meticulously she pairs them with several accessories and other pieces of stuff and gives them a real new look. The fashionable royal breathes new life into old favorites by using clever fashion tricks and wearing the items in her wardrobe with confidence. The mother of 3 is not ashamed to wear a skirt suit or coat many times, because she knows that the combination would feel fresh and fabulous with the right pair of sandals or a new purse.
So, now it seems like your Wardrobe needs to breathe in some light.
